BLACKstreet was founded in 1994 by Teddy Riley, known for his work in Guy. Their debut album, BLACKstreet, featured the Top 40 hits singles "Booti Call" and "Before I Let You Go". 1996's “Another Level” went four times platinum and was the group’s breakthrough success due to the top single "No Diggity" (featuring Dr. Dre), which hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in November 1996, and won the 1998 Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. The group released “Level III” in 2003.
