Discovered in 1992 by superstar producer Jermaine Dupri while still in her teens, Da Brat has become one of the most successful and most street-credible female MCs, and the first female rapper to earn a platinum album. Her SoSoDef debut “Funkdafied” was released in 1994, followed by “Anuthatantrum” (1996) and “Unrestricted”(2000), which went Top 5, and included her biggest hits “What Chu Like” and “That’s What I’m Lookin’ For”.
